this is us
I started this journey in 2011 with a kit camera from Costco, with hopes of taking decent pictures of my new baby girl. A fellow Navy family paid me $40 to do some family pictures of them in a park, near my Washington State home. From there a business blossomed.
After gaining a degree and a book of business, I took a leap and moved back to my hometown with my high school sweetheart and that little girl in tow.
Since 2018 we have been building a floral company. May 1 of 2023 we cant wait to open our first full floral and retail store in Antlers, Oklahoma.

I love coffee... that's an understatement. I FREAKING love coffee. I swear I'm half coffee. hehe. I love dry shampoo. I love when someone drives down our dirt road during the golden hour and the dust kicks up into the sun. I love being small town. I love watching my kids grow. I love the life that Kent and I are creating together. I am so proud of all of us.
Don't be surprised when I pull up to your session, consult or wedding with in a feed truck and Muck Boots. I'm warning you now, there will be feed in my hair...

My Favorite part of the wedding process is meeting you in person and teaching you how to become pro models! Seriously, you will learn all the tips and tricks to get those super flattering images (and you get to use them whenever you want!) I bet I'll even get your groom on-board with pictures! Now that you're pros, your wedding day portraits will fly by with ease.
Your BJP Bridal Guide will have all the details on how to plan out your engagement session—from time of year and time of day—to what to wear and location!

This is one of the most important parts of wedding planning. After booking, we will talk about how I create all the detail oriented wedding blog worthy imagery. We don't want you to miss out on one single shot that could have been a big wow factor, so we work very hard to create a custom timeline just for your event. We use everything from location to sunset, to help plan out your big day.
After 6 years of shooting weddings we know the exact formula to create a picture perfect day.

It's time to capture the story! I will be there for all the little moments through out the day, my favorite part... the details. You have spent so much time and thought into your dress, shoes, invitations and so much more. I love spending the first hour of the day getting my creative brain in gear with your tiny details.
Then onto hair and make-up, the dress, hopefully a first look (cause I want you to have a huge gallery), ceremony and the after party! We will put up some sneak peaks the following week to keep you on cloud nine!
the big day

Yay! We made it through. During the busiest season it can take a little longer to get galleries back. Our normal timeframe is 8-10 weeks.
It will have a place for you to create your favorites, you can download all or just some at once and will also have the option to use our high quality professional printer. Just click add to cart and you are set to go.
Some packages that came with an album will receive their draft 2 weeks after the gallery is available. It takes about 6 weeks to receive your album after it is ordered.

Bobbye Jean Photography is the best!! She was our photographer for our small, secret wedding ceremony at the Finley School. We had to plan a last minute ceremony before our official wedding (out of town) so that my husband's grandparents could attend. First off, Bobbye's pictures were AMAZING!!
